The spice is packed fairly tightly in the bottle. You may need to get a chopstick to loosen up the contents. The amazon packaging was good. It arrived in perfect condition, no broken bottles. Well worth it. A couple of tips - try adding to scrambled eggs for some color and dash a bit on your rotisserie chicken. Also goes well with pork loin. Has a nice ground to it and tastes fresh - just make sure you don't let your spices sit in your cabinet for years - they do get old and stale.
